Transitional Chic
The calendar confirms we are in Autumn….Yikes !!!
The thrills of Autumn delights are on the high street, I have already purchased some cost-effective transitional items which are receiving lots of compliments …especially the shoes.
Although I’m looking forward to the newness I’m determined to enjoy those final Summer rays.
September mind-set
September, childhood memories of a new term started.
A chance to start afresh.
50 plus years later I’m planning a wardrobe of fresh styling and embracing the new but holding on to key colours.
Think Pink
Think Pink was just for Summer …think again. Every high street brand has produced fuchsia knitwear, trousers and coats. My choice these stunning heels. Dressed down with denim or teamed with trousers for a lunch date.
Double chic
What better way to make the wardrobe more cost-effective than investing in a reversible jacket? Do black and white ever go out of fashion? Purchasing items that work now with vests …think ahead yes a black cashmere roll neck …Cargo pants ..think options.
Colourful trousers
I fell in love with these beautiful vibrant culottes from the Zara transitional collect. But the pair I desire the most is from the high street store Cos a blogger must have this season.
Call it orange or coral but this beautiful Autumnal colour is set to dominate our Fall wardrobe. The trousers will be beautiful with my black sweaters, stripe shirts or I may be bold and colour block with the above.
Autumns colour palette
If orange is too vibrant why not add a pop of electric blue even if it’s just for walking the dog? Hm jacket Instore now.
Wellingtons are on everyone’s list following on from last year’s Bottega Veneta colourful collection. The perfect dress from M&S with earrings from John Lewis or a splash of colour from Mulberry.
Green and cream
I’m so excited about the new collection from And Other Stories. The stunning green colours and knitwear that’s truly gorgeous.
Shoes from Dune and cropped cream pants from Cos are the perfect compliment for a vibrant stylish look.
A quick instant update from Zara. New for Fall multi-coloured nail varnishes in all flagship stores.
The sweater dress
Perfect Fall update the knitted dress worn with either ankle or knee-high boots. Cosy, warm and a perfect one-piece winner. Add jewellery or tie a chunky belt. I picked this style from Hm because the Oatmeal colour is perfect for a neutral base.
Stripes always trend in Autumn look no further than M&S new arrivals. Check out my blog post Reignite the stripe on button below.
So let’s enjoy those final warm days before the dark evenings arrive and enjoy planning how fabulous our Winter wardrobe will look.
