In 1983, needing £25 to buy a ticket to see David Bowie, I entered the retail world. In a strange twist of fate, I ended my retail career with my other idol.
In 2020, my life changed drastically. Like many others, the COVID-19 virus had a huge impact on the retail industry and the city. I ended up on furlough twice, which was quite unexpected for me. I have never had more than 2 weeks off work in my life, and since I don't have children, I've never even taken maternity leave. With a heavy heart, I decided to step away from it all, to prioritize more family time and finally enjoy some freedom.
My love of fashion and glamour, my idols including Hepburn (both), Grace Kelly, Doris Day, my influences ranging from Madonna to Jagger, my obsession with Hitchcock, my fascination with Jacqueline Kennedy and the Duchess of Windsor, and of course, Margo Channing. Are you ready to join me on my journey? Fasten up.
