Keeping it Chic
Achieving a classic and chic look has always been my main source of fashion inspiration. As we savour the final days of summer, let's get creative and draw inspiration from these stylish ideas. Here are some of my inspirations.
When I posted this image on Instagram, I did not expect the reaction to be about the necklace. The inspiration was a 1960s image of Jackie Kennedy & the jewellery was a last-minute addition.
Mixing vintage with new creates a unique look that others may want to imitate but can never fully recreate. In the details, there's a Michael Kors ring and a vintage Birkin from Bloomingdale’s. The standout accessory is the amber and tortoise vintage necklace.
Without the black and gold leather detail, this is a simple look. I've once again incorporated vintage elements to elevate a neutral outfit. Notice the gold earrings and black glasses, intentionally chosen to complement the subtle detailing
I possess 22 magnificent Birkin bags, and the largest one is my preferred carry-on for travel. This particular bag has been in my possession for 22 years. On that morning, I was inspired by an image of Carolyn Bessette, which is why I chose to carry it. Additionally, the vintage shoes I wore are not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable.
The traditional Breton stripe is a timeless classic, especially when paired with white flared trousers. This Parisian look exudes elegance against the London sky and is inspired by Riviera Chic. It's simple yet easily achievable.
When it comes to putting together outfits, I've found that sticking to at least three colours makes the process much easier. Bold accessories like jewellery, bags, scarves, or glasses should not only be stylish but also practical. Despite my love for these trousers, I've noticed that their hems always end up dirty, regardless of the shoes I wear.
The inspiration was a throw back to the 1950s, inspired by Bardot & Hepburn. The pearls I had seen on Coco Chanel in the south of France.

Tiddly pom-pom
Never have shoes caused such a frenzy! I've had them in my wardrobe for over 10 years. I purchased them on eBay for £6 and ended up buying them in 3 different colors. They are fun, colorful, and most importantly, the most comfortable shoes ever. I ended up reposting the details many times on my stories.
Once again, I styled shoes with the vintage dress from Portobello & a much-loved basket from a shop in Notting Hill. An Instagram friend eagerly mentioned she had been anticipating their reappearance this summer. Reflecting, I realized I had showcased them in the past four summers on my page. It wasn't until I was preparing some Autumn reels that I rediscovered them paired with the boots. Nonetheless, better late than never.
I've been reusing my Zara shirts by pairing them with new accessories and cropped linen trousers. Apart from the clothes I received for my influencer work this summer, I haven't bought much. Thankfully, the colours and design haven't gone out of style. With vacation time here, I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you in September
