Pink Ladies
In May 2020, it was reported that sales of pink hair dye had increased by an astonishing 160%. Across the world celebrities such as Hailey Baldwin, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift were all photographed with various shades of colourful tints.
Women interviewed, who took the decision to go pink, found themselves with more time on their hands, bored or just fancied a change. some reported that it cheered them up over the 12 weeks of lockdown.
DIY ..hair colour
The huge boost in sales due to the practicability of hairdressers closing hit its peak in the 12 weeks to 31 May 2020. Hair home colourants increased by 43% and by October results showed a 76% increase growth year-to-date

Purple shampoo.. a shampoo that contains purple pigments to neutralise brassy & yellow tones on lighter hair. Popular with blondes and adds shine to grey and silver hair.
Lessons I have learnt..
Never apply directly to dry hair
2. Don’t use too much shampoo, about a one-inch circle
3. The darker the purple, the stronger effect
4. Leave on no longer than 3 minutes
5. Rinse with cool water 💦 till water runs clear
Yes, 50 shades of blonde.. ash-white strawberry blonde, chalk, lilac and grey and all the colours of the rainbow. I’m blessed it didn’t all fallout
