Classic style

Seriously I don’t feel the need to write why I brought it. Ok then here we go

Classic, chic, timeless, colourful, desirable, collectable, essential, stylish …and £17 !!!!.

Vintage sunglasses £6

I must confess that vintage sunglasses are an obsession, heaven knows how many shapes, colours and sizes I own. I’m particularly drawn to cat eyes and tortoise shell and I couldn’t pay for these quick enough ..infact I wore them home.

Buying glasses

Always check the quality be extra careful on handling vintage frames, arms and mirrored lenses. Always ask the seller if you can try them on before handling.

Designer glasses

You may get lucky or know the dealer but glasses are the easiest designer items to fake. Do your homework remember you won’t be able to return them.

Lenses

Scratches, blemishes or cracks are not always visible especially buying in daylight. I always check in a mirror or with my magnifying glasses before purchasing. Try on for wonky fitting and check the face width.
