What is it about parties, the anticipation, unforgettable memories, chance meetings or just an excuse to dress up & sparkle. After last Christmas its time to announce your finally out ..out.

The most wonderful time of the year can also be the most stressful. The shops are overloaded with Christmas dresses, jumpsuits, extravagant sparkly stilleto shoes etc, the music is playing you are looking for something special but the crowds ..the till queues ..suddenly your overwhelmed. STOP.

Common sense shopping.

Ever wondered why the charity shops always have fabulous December windows. Lots of Christmas jumpers or an abundance of green and red sequins ?. That’s right seasonal is seasonal it has a wardrobe life of a month NEVER spend money on outfits that you will wear once or twice.

But common sense investment pieces will see you through 52 weeks and beyond.

What to buy

Buy seperates because you get double the wear.

  1. Wear as a suit

2. Wear the jacket with a black skirt, leather trousers or sparkly culottes

3. Wear the trousers with a black cami or a white blouse

Silver & Chocolate.

Whether your in denim, leather or lace up the ante with a killer pair of shoes. Choose comfort and wearability. If your happier in flats, a velvet slipper or soft silk ballet shoe with a removable glitter effect will work.

Party shopping.

The bags

Dont blow your budget all these bags are from Amazon £12-£24

Faux fur.

A faux fur jacket or trim will always add glamour to any look. I have a variety of jackets all vintage. An excellent way to look chic and stay warm. For added bling pop on a beautiful brooch.

Slip dresses and bling.

Just add your biggest rocks, a fabulous cocktail ring and chic chandelier earrings. I often wear a plain black slip dress and add the bling. Nothing makes a outfit stand out like confidence.
