Classic Chic

Effortless, Casual, Basic & Wearable. Deliciously uncomplicated…boucle jackets are reinventing Spring 2023.

Boucle jackets have been my fashion staple for so long that I have a particular area in my wardrobe dedicated to them.

Never out of style and reinvented every season the pockets, fabric and button detail are obviously Chanel inspired.

Coco Chanel

The Chanel jacket is beyond iconic, and instantly recognisable, In 1954 this revolutionary design finally allowed women freedom from corsets & cinched waists.

The jacket that was inspired by men’s blazers complete with pockets rocketed to its cult status in the 1960s. Seen above on Jackie Kennedy & Princess Grace of Monaco.

The versatility of the jacket allows for countless variations. Elevating a simple denim & ballet shoe look to a more grown-up effortless chic.

Cargo pants & boucle ? Well why not this outfit was viewed so many times on Instagram it was originally about the trousers but my inbox was filled with jacket admiration.

One of my favourite jackets (Zara). An afternoon of shopping or Sunday brunch is a winner. The detailing owes a lot to Chanel.

Low -Key Luxury

I adore the minimalist, pared-back look. The sleek trim edging and pocket detailing. Worn with leggings it offers stylish simplicity.

On the High street

Looking out for stylish chic at affordable prices …here are my favourites. Colourful cropped with jeans especially white the jacket above is Primark new arrival.

This beautiful raspberry jacket has landed at Zara perfect for the weekend guaranteed to dress up any outfit.

The high street styles are under £75 …the Shein red jacket is under £20. A perfect investment that won’t break the bank. Toss over a fresh basic white t-shirt.

Let’s hope April brings warmer sunnier days.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter

Tina
