Chic shorts

With summer arriving in London, I am excited to wear shorts and step out. The stores are filled with different lengths and styles, and despite concerns about varicose veins and pale winter legs, I'm ready to go.

I love the gold button detail on the new shorts at H&M. It gives them an almost sailor-like look. When I arrived at lunch, my companion complimented me on the mini skirt. The length is perfect, and I’m practically dancing in these net shoes.

The essential pocket shorts from Ralph Lauren. I love having 6 pockets to choose from. The waistcoat trend seems to be continuing into the summer. The neutral colour is a classic, and although it's covered here, a belt can be added. Many shorts are elastic or only offer a belt as an option, but a belt can sometimes enhance an outfit.

With belt detail, these shorts are fabulous for dressing up. The dart detail stitching draws the eye to the length. Always try to sit down when trying on shorts. Shorts that are cut too tight or too short can not only be uncomfortable on the stomach but also painful for anyone sitting opposite.

I have a confession to make. These pink shorts are from the men's department at M&S. They are baggier and longer with a turn-up detail. I couldn't find a pale pink stripe in any women's outlet. They fit lower on the waist, perfect for hotter days or wearing with a cropped top. They fit lower on the waist perfect for hotter days or wearing with a cropped top.

Elastic waist with turn-up, these shorts are designed for urban wear with their shorter length. Made of essential linen, they are perfect for hot days. In the past, shorts were mainly purchased for vacation, sports, or adventure, but recently, men have started wearing them to the office and some women wear them with tights underneath. It's a good investment as they are durable and can last for years.

I always make sure to prepare my pale winter legs and maintain beauty routines. Even though I wear high heels all year round, I regularly apply thick cream to my feet and cover them with socks to keep them soft. I walk around 15-20k steps a day, so taking care of my feet is very important. I use tanning oil, especially on my legs, to get them ready f

I think I finally found the right balance between looking stylish and feeling comfortable. Even in this hot weather, I try my best to maintain a sense of elegance. I've started wearing shorts when I'm out in the city, a change from my usual preference for loose dresses. To keep things looking sharp, I pair the shorts with a fitted jacket, and I always make sure my nail polish is eye-catching and well-done, especially since sweaty feet and mesh shoes can be a bit of a problem in this heat.

There is something so effortlessly stylish and relaxed about carrying a wicker basket in the summer. Whether it's for a picnic, a day at the beach, or a stroll through the market, I adore the simplicity of its open top and soft woven fabric. It's inexpensive, stylish, and adds a personal touch to any outing.

I refuse to give up my Elie Beaumont sunglasses; they are an absolute Summer necessity, adding glamour and disguising my dark circles. Following my last blog entry, I've resolved to stick to flats for May. Despite the impulse buying of Zara mules, I am determined to stay true to my commitment to flats for this Summer.

Finally, a huge hallo to Instagram & Tok friends what took you so long .. I’m glad you made it.
