October Stylish Chic

With the October air wafting with Spiced Lattes, and the crunch of dried leaves underfoot you could be forgiven for boxing up your Summer wardrobe. Don’t !! Autumn trends continue to pack a blast of colour ..its time to mix & match the New Season with …Summer.

The temptation to pack away everything Summer and replace it with woollies and New Season goodies is understandable but don’t peek too soon. It’s October 5th in London today and it’s 17 degrees. This year I did a half and a half and just as well it’s still warm, dry & sunny.

Warmer days allow for bare arms but this look which is a dark navy shell is brought into the New Season by introducing a lilac edge. Boots with culottes are set to be big this season. The colourful boots are teamed with lilac sunglasses and a soft bag. The belt was the strap on the bag I tied at the last minute.

Animal prints are always chic and fresh. The dark red screams Autumn its a roll neck & long sleeves ideal for chilly mornings. The pull-on sock boots with a stiletto heel give a dressy look and are paired with a classic bag ideal for early October. A long black coat will jazz this up in colder months.

Is there a better example of mixing seasonal styles than Summer denim dungarees with a leather jacket and last year’s Dior boots? This image had a huge audience on my Instagram page. It’s easy to copy looking fresh and ideal for early Autumn.

Elevate biker chic with great accessories and timeless glasses.

Summer shoes —Autumn skirt—Winter jacket

Mega brights, mix and match bold colours. Pink is here to stay check out Valentino for more ideas. Above a deep burgundy and purple combination. I adore the clash of satin, crocodile & faux fur.

Simple elegant and effortless the trousers from Marks and Spencer I brought in the sale for 10 pounds I have worn them through Spring, Summer and now Autumn.

Modern tailoring

Well-cut pants will carry you through the seasons. Worn above with loafers for Autumn and a Zara knit this look is clean cut & elegant. I shall add a trench coat in later months but for now, it's a perfect mix.

There is something mood-lifting about black and white. Wearing white in Autumn, hell yes why not. Absolutely everything is at least 3 years old. The bag is 18 years but buy right and forget the age. Chic, simple, elegant and timeless going to the office or meeting for lunch this classic combination just works.

Sandals in the leaves…In October.

Although I brought out all my ankle boots ( Except Uggs ) the London sun dictated open toes. Only the Autumn leaves give any hint of the time of year.

Floral fashion continues and this embellished Zara coat is one to swoon over. Bright green shoe boots and cropped Prada jeans add to an altogether colourful look.

Have a great start to October
