New in my wardrobe
Style and fashion as we sometimes forget should be about fun, reinvention, embellishing…plain and simple. No more so, than in September. You can feel it in the air, magazines brimming over with new looks, shop windows fresh and bursting with newness. But dressing in September can be confusing, the weather is still warm and we are desperate to hold on to the final rays of Summer.
Black & White story
When I purchased the bag and shoes I already knew they would fit in perfectly with my wardrobe. The shoes with a rock stud embellishment compliment my white linen trousers and tan. I have worn them with frayed denim and black leggings around town and they are ideal in the warmer afternoons. I don’t own many small bags but this style was perfect with the easily accessible chain detail making it perfect during the day and on to an evening out.

September colours
What better way to show off a tan than highlighting the skin with rich bright colours and dazzling jewellery. The jumper was a great purchase for now but with the long sleeve I will wear in to October as well. Scarves are the best accessory for adding a dash of daring and this L K Bennett silk square doesn’t hold back.
Dressing my tan
Flowery ballet shoes
The colourful lilac suede ballerinas are a gorgeous addition. I have narrow feet, the adjustable bow detail allows for the shoe to tighten. The flower detail adds interest to the look.
You cannot beat the uplifting joy, a splash of the new season’s colourful accessories can bring to falls new looks. A classic navy mini bag with burgundy jewels and cherry nail varnish give this navy look a punch of vibrancy.
